The nearest onsen (hot spring) is only a minute away on foot, and the village centre is an easy 8-minute walk.
Nozawa Onsen itself is a charming, compact village – it’s just a 15-minute walk from one end to the other, making everything easily accessible on foot.

Getting to Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort
・We offer our guests a complimentary morning shuttle service to the main Nagasaka Gondola station. The ride takes about 5 minutes and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
・Please note that we do not provide a return shuttle from the ski resort. Guests are kindly asked to use the ski resort’s free shuttle bus and get off at the nearest stop to our property—Meat Shop Washino. From there, it’s just a one-minute walk to Snow Palace Nozawa.
・The ski resort also operates free shuttle buses between the village center and Nagasaka Gondola. The bus stop is conveniently located within a one-minute walk from us. If you prefer not to wait for our shuttle, feel free to use the resort’s shuttle service.
・For experienced skiers or snowboarders, the nearest chairlift (Karasawa) is just a 7-minute walk from our facility. This lift connects to a slope that leads directly to the main gondola.
